lizard with wizard hatTip! Switch on “autowalk” if navigating using arrow keys and the space bar together proves too hard. Adjust settings after loading the first level of the game.

Quickstart:

Use the arrowkeys to walk around the game.
Walk over a good object to pick it up.
Press the space bar to “shoo” Iris the ibis.
Press Enter to skip the full instructions.

Instructions:

You are in a dark shaded area of the beach, close to the nest of Iris the ibis. Use the arrow keys to walk around.

The game has three levels. In each level you have to collect different “good things”.
But beware, because Iris the ibis will try to steal from you whatever you carry with you. She will try to eat it and if she finds out that she cannot eat it, she will leave it in her nest.

To avoid Iris the ibis from taking something from you, you have to shoo her.
To “shoo” successfully, press the space bar at the same time as you hear the sound or see the image of Iris the ibis.

If you see or hear a good object, you pick it up by simply continuing to walk on over it. Do not press the space bar. If you press the space bar when you see or hear a good thing, this means you shoo the thing and lose it to Iris.

For each item you collect you score one point.
If Iris shows up and you do not shoo her successfully, she will take a thing from you.
For each item Iris takes away from you, you lose one point.

The purpose of each level of the game is to have at least one good item left when time is up, which is after 60 seconds.
When you succeed you will go on to the next level.

If you fail to finish with a score of at least one good item, you will have to play the same level over again.

To activate the single switch mode, after loading the first level of the game click on the button “Turn-single-switch-on”.
Set the speed for the player. Speed 9 is default. To set a higher speed click on the right arrow, to set it at a slower pace click on the left arrow.

Please note that while playing the game you can at any time adjust the speed by pressing the “x” key to walk faster and the “z” key to walk slower.

Level 3:

A boardwalk made from all the pieces of driftwood Iris managed to steal from other players takes you deep into the nest.
Here in this dark and cool place Iris the ibis keeps all kinds of mystery objects.
They are things she took from the playground and could not eat. It is impossible to tell what rubbish she keeps here. One thing is for sure, a single starfish has ended up in the nest as well. If you find the starfish and collect it, Iris the ibis cannot take it away from you. The starfish scores five extra points if you finish the game successfully. All other mystery objects that you manage to take away during this level score one point each.

Oh, and one more very important thing; Iris is not the sole keeper of this nest. She is joined by her granny Annie the ibis. The pair of them will try and take items away from you!

Press space bar to shoo Iris and Annie.
