Single switch players
With automatic scanning children who use a single switch can access the whole ePlayground and play all of the games independently.
You can play with a switch plugged into a switch adapted computer mouse and with a single switch in combination with a space bar emulating interface.
The automatic scanning ePlayground is also ideal for children who can use left mouse-click but find navigating (moving) with the mouse a bit hard.
Instead of a switch, a microphone can be used if Puff2Play™ is switched on. Children can then play all of the games by giving a short “puff” of breath into the microphone.
Tip! When using a switch adapted computer mouse, make sure that the cursor of the mouse is not taking away the focus of the switch on the ePlayground. Place the cursor on the island map and then put the mouse out of reach of the player (who will use the plugged-in switch to play).
The automatic scanning ePlayground requires you to register with a player name and password. This login process has been implemented to enable players to access the ePlayground with their own pre-set personal settings from any computer. It also allows players in TrixMix and Roo Hill Thrill to add their remix or score to the Hall of Fame or Hi-score list respectively, without needing to type in their name.
